Notice to my valued Patients: I would like to inform you that in the new year I will be increasing my fees slightly to fall in line with current industry standards and cost of living considerations. This will take effect January 1, 2025. At that time I will also be implementing a seniors discount. Thank you for your understanding and your continued support.

Direct Billing is available for most major health Insurance providers (Telus Health Portal, Pacific Blue Cross, Alberta Blue Cross, GreenShield, Canada Life, Manulife, SunLife, RWAM etc). Other payment methods include credit card or E-transfer

Due to the ongoing risk of seasonal illness, I highly encourage any patients with symptoms such as fever, cough, digestive upset, sudden onset fatigue/body aches or any cold-like symptoms to cancel online or email michaelarempel.rmt@gmail.com to reschedule. Cancellation fees are not charged for cold/flu-related symptoms, and I will be happy to see you again when symptoms have resolved.

NOTE: Michaela is NOT able to direct bill to ICBC or WorksafeBC. A receipt can be provided for you to submit on your own for re-imbursement.

Massage Therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.

Michaela Rempel

Michaela Rempel, RMT.

Michaela was born and raised in Prince George, BC. She moved to Vernon in 2014 to attend Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. In 2016, she finished her diploma with both practical and academic achievement awards.

As a therapist, Michaela focuses on treating pain (new or chronic) and dysfunction with a specific and methodical approach. Her treatments are a balance between educated assessment and intuition, with a deep compassion and goal of holding safe space for her patients. You can expect a moderate-deep pressure with a focus on myofascial release. Her goal is to work with you to decrease pain and restore function in areas of chronic pain or longstanding injury.

Her areas of focus are pelvic dysfunction with a specific interest in issues of the female pelvis, scar tissue mobilization; particularly post caesarian, rotator cuff injuries, low back & neck pain, headaches and much more.

Michaela is passionate about continuing to understand and support the body in its extraordinary process of healing. She has pursued education in visceral manipulation, nerve impingements and decompression, the spine and the female pelvis in relationship to the uterus.

In her spare time, Michaela is most likely in the kitchen baking or enjoying the outdoors with her family. She is the mom of two beautiful kids, and is grateful to be able to serve this extraordinary community, and to call beautiful Armstrong, BC, home.
